Here's a little bit of background on me: I was born in Bosnia and I currently live in the United States (North Carolina).
I am a certified personal trainer and over the past 4 years, I’ve helped hundreds of clients reach their muscle building and fitness goals.
I’m also a competitive drug-free bodybuilder, having placed inside the top 3 at every contest I’ve competed in so far, including 1st place at the 2008 INBF Natural Atlantic Coast Championships Tall Class Division.
Unlike some other authors and so called “experts”, I actually practice what I preach. I enjoy teaching the muscle building and fitness lifestyle for a living and it’s my #1 passion in life.
My ultimate goal within the next 10 years is to help 30,000 people attain their muscle building goals through proven weight training, nutrition, recovery and supplement strategies.
I'm a big believer in bodybuilding style training because bodybuilding started the entire health and fitness revolution that we see today.
A long time ago, as far back as the 1930's and 1940's, bodybuilders knew the importance of proper nutrition, not only for muscle development, but also for good health and longevity.
Way before there was the "Atkins Diet" and all the other mainstream low carb diets that you hear about today, bodybuilders knew the importance of lowering carbohydrates to shed excessive bodyfat and get into shape for competitions.
Before there was strenght training, weightlifting, kettlebell training, Bally's, 24hr fitness, Planet Fitness, P90X, etc..., there was bodybuilding.
You see, bodybuilding started it ALL. Every exercise video you see today and every health club that exist today is because of bodybuilding.
I don't think that the fitness industry would would be giant that it is today if it weren't for good old bodybuilding.
I don't mean to sound euphoric or whatnot , but I honestly believe that most people would live much better, more productive, healthier and longer lives if they adopted the bodybuilding lifestyle, or at least made some form of fitness a part of their lives.
How I Started Bodybuilding
I first picked up a dumbbell when I was a freshman in high school. Being smaller and weaker compared to most of the other kinds my age was one of the primary reasons why I started training with weights.
Like most people just starting out trying to build muscle, I made just about every mistake you could imagine.
Reading bodybuilding magazines gave me a general understanding of how to train and eat for muscle growth, but I had no idea of the massive amounts of performance enhancing drugs that most pro bodybuilders used to achieve their impressive size and strength.
I thought I would be huge and ripped if I just followed their training routines and ate 8,000 calories a day like some pro bodybuilders do in the off-season.
I was dead WRONG.
After many months of trial error and frustration, I realized that I would never achieve the massive size and strength gains like that of the pros, unless I used steroids.
I decided right then and there that I was going to build my physique 100% naturally, without steroids, no matter how difficult it would be.
Weather or not an individual decides to use steroids is a personal choice, and I respect other peoples decisions. However, like other natural bodybuilders, I believe that the short term gains in muscle size and strength are not worth the long-term and possibly serious side-effects of long-term anabolic steroid use.

My goal for creating Muscle Building & Strength Development is to show you proven no B.S strategies that you can use to transform your physique, no matter if you're a beginner or you already have a few years of training experience.
